It's interesting to see that idealists say something yet business "wins". While earlier newsreports indicated that Google might pull out of China because of alleged hacking attempts on it's property sponsored by the Chinese government Eric Schmidt says differently. -
Don’t be evil
A friend of mine recently posted a link to an article where Google takes a stand against hacking attacks on it's property. The Chinese government was implied and my friend wondered if this was clever marketing or genuine. Google Inc. co-founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page have always said they put their principles before profit, even to the point of using their control of the company to take a stand. It looks like the time that they need to put their money where their mouth is is getting closer. -
Identity Management
I've considered titling this article 'Online Identity Management' instead as this is what we most frequently hear or read about. I feel however that more and more things 'offline' and 'online' are starting to blend together so I'd like to make a start here and remove the distinction. What is an 'identity', what can we do with an identity and how do we manage our identity?
