Contribute to 3DN Techblog
This section contains some tips and tricks for people who contribute, or would like to contribute contents to this blog. At the moment of writing this page we’re still a fairly small group of people who are enthusiastic about technology of all kinds. We would like to become a bigger group! So if you are also interested in technology, maybe you would like to join us?
What does Joining Mean?
Well, it means that you will be made an author on the blog. This means that you will be able to publish articles. If you feel insecure about writing articles, we will help you with editting them if you indicate you would like this.
How to Join the 3DN Techblog
That’s real simple. There’s a couple of small steps to take. First you need to have a login on the blog itself. You can do this simply by going to the Login Screen. On the login screen you will see some common login providers like Facebook, LinkedIn, Hyves etc. These common login providers are in the right panel. We’ve had some people telling us they cannot see the login providers panel, this may be because your browser doesn’t show Flash. No panic! You can still sign up in the left panel by typing in a username and email address.
After you have signed up, let Fred know that you like to become an author as well. Fred’s the administrator of the server who can give you Author privilege (which means you will be able to write articles!)
Discussion Group
A discussion group on what functionality the blog should have, what the layout should be like etc. has been set up on Google Groups, subscription is open so anybody can join and read the archives. If you would like to join the 3DN Techblog as an author, please browse through the archive first to have some idea of history.
