Interestingly, on the heels of the news about Google leaving China and then the news about Google not leaving China, now there’s an announcement that Sergey Brin and Larry Page want to get rid of some GOOG shares so they will no longer have absolute power in the company. One has to wonder if this has something to do with the yes… no… yes… no… about leaving China. I can only imagine the board meetings that have been taking place recently.
Or is it just a way to cover up that GOOG insiders are selling shares, typically a bad bad sign for investors. Surely, the stock doesn’t seem to be hurting so if it’s a cover up it’s a good one!
